I. Their Story
He was the first of them. The first Guardian. The one who went deepest the night the Failsafe failed.
Something inside the Source Layer spoke to him in a voice no recording has ever fully captured. The official archive calls what followed corruption. Recovered fragments suggest he may have been trying to warn the Order about something it had already chosen not to see.
There is a tenth voice in the Source Layer recordings. It is his.
